I found the room spacious. The shower was powerful, we loved the shower! the view over the golf course was admirable. breakfast offered a good choice, with commendable service both mornings and during the evening meal.

the value was good especially because we booked using a travelzoo voucher. the location is excellent with views of the golf course. the staff i met were polite and helpful. dinner was very nice and the food was delicious.
the bedroom bathroom was a bit small. i had to be careful i didn't bang my head on both sides of bed.

the building is set in lovely grounds. i used the pool and sauna and even the bowling alley. evening meal was very good and the breakfast offering was great too.
the room decor was old fashioned and the carpet threadbare in parts which is not a good look

I found the staff kind. it meant so much to me. our room was prepared perfectly and was clean, so our stay began without worry. i adored the grounds around the hotel. They were charming and offered a peaceful sense of escape.
I noticed the hallways seemed a little dated. A refresh would elevate the experience.

Breakfast included a buffet with pastries, fresh fruit, and hot items. The buffet was very well presented. dinner at the restaurant was delectable and a romantic delight. the waitstaff offered kind service throughout the meal.

the spa offered a tranquil experience with a sauna and steam room. i loved that the gym included modern equipment like treadmills and elliptical trainers. the hotel had an indoor pool which was very clean ! though the pool could be crowded sometimes.

warm welcomecomfortable room
marion at reception gave a really warm welcome dinner bowling and spa were booked exactly as requested the rooms were clean and quite comfortable i found great views from the room. the meals were pleasing karen's attentiveness made a big difference to our break she chose a good wine for our table and ensured we had enough throughout the courses
the wifi was free but not great
